Senior portraits are one of those "once in a lifetime" moments and I understand the importance of ensuring your Senior has the best experience possible with regard to his and her portraits. Your Senior will have unlimited wardrobe changes and the option of shooting outdoors at his or her choice of venue or in a more "formal" studio like setting with backdrops...

What to wear?

My advice with regard to wardrobe outfits for Seniors is to ensure whatever they wear, that they're comfortable. If your Senior is not comfortable in the clothing he or she wears during the shoot, it will show. Try to avoid any large labels, aside from that - anything goes. I love to start with a more formal outfit (long dress for the girls and maybe coat and tie for the boys) and then transition to more casual - jeans, sun dress, etc. appropriate for the time of year...

Can I bring along friends?

Friends are encouraged but not necessary - I'm happy to incorporate as many friends in the session as the Senior would like but remember, any time shooting friends takes away from the time focused on the Senior...

Can we shoot in someplace like Georgetown?

Unique locations like are Georgetown are also encouraged. A little bit more coordination is required for shoots in busy locations like Georgetown or Old Town but the results are much more compelling! Other than that I love to shoot at local parks that provide for multiple backdrops...

How many photos will I get to choose from?

You will receive at a minimum 100 proofs, usually closer to 150 or 200 to choose from. I will also send you a few fully touched up samples shortly after the shoot to wet your appetite for what's to come with the full gallery...
